How we use your details
This notice covers the details you give us when you register interest in Fleetnexo before it launches. We've kept it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Fleetnexo is run by Stuart Ross, a sole trader. He decides how your details are used, so he is the "controller" under UK data protection law. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean him.

What we collect
When you register interest we keep what you type into the form: your name, your company, the kind of business it is, your fleet size or your garage's town or postcode, your work email address, and your phone number and message if you give them.
We also record that you ticked the box agreeing that we may contact you about the launch, and when you did.
We don't ask for anything else, and we don't buy information about you from anyone.
Why we use it
Only to contact you about Fleetnexo's launch: to tell you when it's ready, to ask a few questions about how you work so we build the right thing, and to offer you early access.
We do this because you asked us to (your consent). We won't use your details for anything else, and we never sell them or share them with other companies for their own marketing.
Who can see it
Only the small Fleetnexo team. Your details are stored on our servers, run for us by our hosting provider. When we email you, the email is sent by Postmark, an email delivery service. Neither can use your details for anything of their own.
Where it's kept
Your details are held on our servers in France. UK data protection law recognises the European Economic Area, France included, as protecting personal data to the UK standard.
Encrypted backup copies are kept on a separate server in Canada, which UK law also recognises as protecting personal data adequately. The backups can only be read with a key we keep away from both servers.
Postmark sends our emails, so it handles your email address and the email itself in order to deliver it.
How long we keep it
Until Fleetnexo launches plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. After that we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. You can also change your mind about being contacted at any time.
To do any of these, email hello@fleetnexo.com from the address you registered with, or tell us which address it was. We'll do it within one month, and usually much sooner.
If you're unhappy with how we've used your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
The site sets two small cookies that keep forms and signing in secure. They aren't used to track you, and there are no advertising or analytics cookies.
